shattered pictures of my lost youth
trying to hide, believing lies over truth
nocturnal rose spreading petals of sorrow
belonging to nothing, dreams i must borrow
pain everlasting, pathetic excuses
days getting shorter, running out of uses
complaining about life, with a ro0f overhead
make room for the deserving, im better off dead
for the ones that i love, ive caused so much pain
they care and they plead but have nothing to gain
i try to fit in, i joke and i jest
but im empty inside, im not like the rest
never finding the guts to end my own life
crying buckets of tears while holding a knife
those of u who know will always understand
that people like us are not in demand
they can medicate and talk for hours at a time
but i listen, i feel like ive committed a crime
sorry to interrupt ur happy sunny day
but thats why im here right? to get in ur way...
The End
by: Rory
skies of fire and seas of grain
call out to thee o sacred name
cast the stones and freeze the rain
unleash my torment and fevered pain
rob their hearing, steal their sight
remove the stars from the earthen nights
cast the shadows, curse the light
rise for me my unseen knights
turn the birds into black crows
twist and turn the winds below
reap the souls they all bestow
where they come from, now they shall go
the end...

the darkness lives within yourself,
and rips you limb from limb.
it jeapordizes
your very health, as your life is sad and dim when you dream, the demons come and stab you in your sleep while up above
the moon is hung and shadows begin to creep when you wake the day is new and none of this is real but the hate still
burns inside of you and the pain will never heal
Cycle
by: Ben
As we grow we change, and
as we change we know, it doesn't matter what speed we take life, fast or slow, we all try to be that radical kid,
but end up as that regular Joe, Life is full of tests, do your best, hold your head high, don't look back,
some of these lessons are true, some to me and not you, grow up right, do no wrongs, Concentrate, think
think think, hurry up move faster, yet life picks up it's pace, you live to work and work for those who live,
possessions are what you get for your time, doing your daily routine, if you stooped breathing would you notice
a thing, you go where you are told, do what is asked of you, that is the cycle of life, if you broke your
routine and though, See for yourself how true it is...even to you
Drift
by: Ben
drifting away farther and farther, until but a speck remains of what once was, who saw it coming who
could have known, it came suddenly from nowhere all around, who was to stop them, once so tight and now strangers,
Maybe its for the best, or was it meant to be, really it doesn't matter, it still hurts me, jealousy is
one angle, sorrow is another, love was the origin of their bond, now broken and torn, distance becoming more,
the love that held us so tight is loosening, and I do want to grab on to you with all my strength, but I can't
bring myself to do it...not again, yet I say too many tears have fallen for her, too much blood been spilled, so
many hours wondering, and caring still, if it can't be done than why do it, if you are unwanted why stay, let
go of any feelings of importance, and just drift...away.
Falling into Darkness
by: Ben
Free
falling into darkness, down down down deeper further, its all games and fun on the outside, but slowly dying inside,
being burnt alive by the darkness, never seeing what was meant to be, lost inside the deepness of themselves,
just wanting to yell out for someone to save them, someone but who, what else is there to know there is no one
out there for you, searching for land lost at sea, searching for something i need, free falling into a black hole,
spiraling out of control, not only needing but wanting to stop that fall, falling into silence, screams without
sounds, tears flooding my face, pain known no bounds, cold sweat on my face, hands twitching, losing my
grip, and still i slip deeper and deeper to the ground.
